What we do

Heart-n-Soul helps neighbors share a meal in order to foster a tight knit Fargo-Moorhead community. All are welcome, no matter their economic status. This way, our neighbors who can’t always afford to visit a restaurant can come in and enjoy a nutritious meal, no questions asked. Those who pay it forward or pay the suggested amount keep our cafe going so that those who are hungry can feel comfortable and welcomed.

Come in for a meal and leave with nourished

We love our volunteers. You should be one.

We could never do everything we do to nourish our neighbor’s body, heart, and soul without our extraordinary volunteers. Last month alone, volunteers donated over 100 hours! But we can always use more help. How great would it feel to serve a meal to someone who may not eat anything else for the rest of the day? Or use your love of cooking to prepare that meal? There are many ways you can help as a Heart -n- Soul volunteer, from dishes, to serving, to cooking.

Groups, individuals, families, there are many opportunities. If you can’t volunteer your time, we hope you’ll join us for a meal sometime!
